Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)

Resilience is the ability to bounce back after a set back or challenge.

Ways we can show resilience at St Mary's:

-A student struggling with Maths who keeps practicing, asks the teacher for extra help, and feels proud when they finally understand a difficult concept.

-A student who experiences teasing but stands up for themselves, tells a trusted adult, and works with friends to create a buddy system, making the school a safer and more supportive place.

-A student who feels left out but takes the initiative to join group activities, learns to share their interests, and discovers that being true to themselves attracts friends who appreciate them for who they are.

Congratulations to the following children for receiving their HONOUR BOARD award for Resilience.
