AISWA Pilot Project Update – Whole School Wellbeing and CRRE
We are pleased to share a brief update on our involvement in the AISWA Pilot Project, which is supporting schools to strengthen a whole‑school approach to student wellbeing and Consent and Respectful Relationships Education (CRRE).
This term, our work has focused on building a shared understanding of wellbeing across the College. Drawing on the project framework, wellbeing is being explored not just as “feeling well”, but also as “functioning well” and feeling connected and able to contribute to the community. Developing a common language and definition is a key step in ensuring consistency, clarity and alignment across all aspects of College life.
Alongside this, we have begun important groundwork to better understand our current context. This includes conducting a comprehensive environmental audit of the College. Staff and students are being surveyed to identify where they feel most safe, connectedand supported, and student focus groups are contributing valuable insights across both Junior and Senior Schools.
We are also auditing our existing wellbeing programs and practices from K to 12 to identify strengths and opportunities for greater alignment and continuity.
This phase of the project is critical in helping us shape a clear, evidence-informed whole-of-College framework that will guide our approach moving forward. We look forward to continuing this work and sharing further updates as the project progresses.
Connecting and Caring for Boodja: Hosting the Reconciliation Network Industry Group
On Wednesday 14 May, All Saints’ College was proud to host the Reconciliation Network Industry Group (RING) meeting, centred on the theme Connecting and Caring for Boodja. The gathering brought together educators and community members committed to strengthening reconciliation through shared learning and practice.
As a College, we had the opportunity to showcase our Outdoor Learning Program, highlighting how connection to place is embedded in the student experience. Visitors were then taken on a tour of our Bush School and Water Classroom, where they could see firsthand how these spaces foster curiosity, respect and a deep sense of connection to the natural environment.
At the heart of the day was the recognition that Boodja—land—is central to culture and identity. Caring for Boodja is not only about environmental stewardship, but also about honouring Aboriginal perspectives and strengthening reconciliation through shared responsibility and understanding.
Our next Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) meeting will be held on Tuesday 9 June, as we continue this important work together.
