Cross Country

We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Cross Country team this season. Cross country is a demanding sport that develops resilience, determination, perseverance, and mental toughness, and our runners demonstrated these qualities in abundance throughout the season.

A special congratulations to Henry, Jimmy, Zoe, Cleo, Kale’a, Jack, and Ben, who have all qualified for the Regional Cross Country Championships. This is an exceptional achievement, particularly in what is widely regarded as one of the most competitive divisions in the state.

Their commitment to training, positive attitude, and courageous performances on race day have been truly inspiring. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and wish them every success at the Regional Championships. Well done, team!

AFL Primary Play – Skill, Fun, and Footy Fundamentals

This term, our students have been participating in the AFL Primary Play program, led by a team of experienced facilitators. The program has been a hit with all students who have shown enthusiasm and teamwork throughout each session.

Designed to be inclusive, fast-paced and non-contact, the program provides an excellent foundation for students preparing for the AFL Gala Day—a fun-filled competition focused on skill development, fitness, and enjoyment of the game.

Winter Playoffs – Team Spirit on Show

Term 2 kicked off with our much-anticipated Winter Playoffs, and this year’s event saw a record level of energy, enthusiasm, and participation.

This year marked the inaugural Girls’ Soccer competition, providing a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their skills. The team represented Middle Park Primary School exceptionally well, displaying excellent sportspersonship, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to our school values throughout the day. Their encouragement of teammates, respectful interactions with opponents, and resilience on the field were a credit to both themselves and our school community.

Across all sports, our students performed exceptionally well both on and off the field. The sportsmanship displayed by our teams was outstanding as they competed fiercely while treating players, officials, and spectators with respect and kindness.

A special congratulations to our Mixed Hockey team, who won the Southern Port District Hockey Championship. Their success has earned them automatic qualification to the Division Championships, an outstanding achievement and a testament to their skill, teamwork, and determination. We look forward to following their progress as they continue their journey.
