The SRC Scoop  📣

This year, the SRC chose the Starlight Children’s Foundation as our charity to support. This charity helps to bring some fun and laughter to unwell children in hospital. We have already raised money with the Easter Egg Guessing Competition and by collecting loose change from each class every week. Next, we are having a Winter Mufti Day on Buzz Day—bring a gold coin if you want to wear your PJs or Oodie! Thanks for being so generous, GVPS!

🥪In other news, our school is trialling changing when we play and eat at lunch. Now, we have fruit break, playtime, then eating time. The playground looks cleaner, and our classrooms feel calmer! Because of this, it’s super important to eat breakfast before coming to school, so you don’t feel hungry at playtime.

🥶Finally, as it’s getting colder, please remember to label your things. If you lose something, don’t forget to check the lost property area!

2026 SRC

Public Ambassadors

Our Liverpool School Ambassadors, Lilian and Levi, attended their first workshop. The workshop allowed them to plan a school improvement project, to communicate and network with other schools, and to develop their leadership skills. The workshop even had a visit from Local Member for Liverpool, Charishma Kaliyanda. 

They are currently implementing their Kindness Project at school. We can't wait to see what they achieve this year.
