Brain Food / Homework

Brain Food
Brain Food is an opportunity for the children to have a quick snack during the morning block of learning.
The purpose of brain food is to provide a nutritious, healthy, energising snack to help maintain concentration and attention. It should also be possible to eat the snack and be able to keep on working.
We remind and ask you to provide your child with a snack that follows the suggested guidelines:
- A piece or a serving of fresh fruit
- A piece or a serving of fresh vegetable
A good rule of thumb is simply – something in nature's wrapper.
