What a term! Term 4 Science has been a blast!

All of our students focused on Earth and Space Science.

Our younger students learnt how landscapes change, day and night, the weather and environmental changes too.

Our Grade 3s and 4s studied how our landscapes change on Earth, with a focus on weathering and erosion. Students worked in groups to come up with solutions for how they could prevent erosion from human impacts. 

Our Grade 5s and 6s looked at planets and how Earth is part of a solar system. They compared Earth and Mars' atmosphere, temperature and surface. They researched a chosen planet and came up with a design solution that would enable a scientist to gather data about their specific planet. Some great ideas were explored and prototyped.

We can't wait for what 2025 Science will bring!
