Principal's Message

As we wrap up another busy and productive semester, I want to take a moment to thank all our students and staff for their hard work and commitment. It’s been a big term, and it’s been great to see our school community working together with such care and dedication.
One of the highlights has been the launch of our Student Representative Council (SRC). The group has already shown real initiative, gathering feedback and planning projects to help make our school an even better place. We’re excited to see what they bring to life next term.
We’re also very happy to welcome Adam May, who has joined us as our new Disability Support Coordinator. Adam brings lots of experience and a strong passion for inclusive education. We’re lucky to have him on the team.
Next term, we’ll also be welcoming Josephine Chapman, who’s joining us in the new Aspiring Koorie Teachers (AKT) Education Support role. Her work will help strengthen our commitment to cultural inclusion and supporting Koorie students across the school.
A number of staff will be taking leave over the holidays and into next term. We wish them a relaxing and enjoyable break, with time to focus on family, interests, and life outside of school.
There’ll be some timetable changes in Term 3, aimed at better supporting students’ learning and wellbeing. We’ll share more information before the term begins.
Finally, I’ll be on leave for a short time in early Term 3—from 21 July to 30 July. During that time, Seamus Coppick will be Acting Principal, and I know the school will be in great hands.
