Welcome to our newsletter item for this week. 

2024- Thank you everyone

What a fantastic year at Heidelberg Primary School. As the 2024 school year ends, it is time to reflect. It has been an incredible year of learning for our students.

Excursions, camps, whole school events, fundraising and community engagement just to name a few. One of the highlights was watching the level of commitment by everyone at the school's end of year event Summer Nights, Christmas Lights, the true essence of community.  

As we look back on the year at HPS, we have much to be grateful for. We are in a privileged position to be Assistant Principals in such a great school with a rich history of excellence. Students are eager to come to school every day. Our students have high expectations about learning, and love playing and interacting with each other. 

A huge thank you to all the students that inspire us and give us a reason to come to work. Thank you to the staff and families for your amazing work with the students and support of us. It takes a village to raise a child, and HPS is a perfect example of this work. 

Lastly, we would like to thank our colleague, friend and HPS Principal, Naomi Ivers for her work over the year. We are most fortunate to be led on our learning and continuous improvement by Naomi. 

Have the most wonderful holiday season; we look forward to 2025 with enthusiasm.
