Positive Behaviours for Learning

At SFS, our PBL (Positive behaviours for learning) school wide expectations are:

Respect,

Responsibility and

Kindness

This week the teachers and students focused on KINDNESS outdoors, play fairly and be a good sport.

Here are some of our lucky raffle winners from last week who have been demonstrating our school wide expected behaviours.

Student Representative Council Term 4

This week, the students continued to talk about ways that we can spread kindness around SFS. The students went to learning spaces to collect kindness points from each homegroup.

They completed their kindness awareness posters and distributed them around the school.

Let’s see how much kindness we can spread around SFS for the last 2 and a bit weeks left of the school year. Next week will be the last week for the SRC to meet and we will finish with a little celebration and reflection of the term’s achievements and efforts.

Action for Happiness December Calendar

You may like to spread some kindness at home and in the community. The Action for happiness December calendar is called “Do good December” with a focus on carrying out small acts of kindness.

Support over the holidays

While the Christmas holidays can be a very happy and exciting time, it can also be a challenging time for some people. If you need support or anyone you know needs support during this time, the following contacts may be helpful.

This is a snapshot of the mental health and community support services available for children, young people, families, carers and educators.

If you are concerned about someone at risk of immediate harm, call 000 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.
