 Reports

Reports will be available in the Parent Portal after 1 pm on Thursday 12th December.

NForma has decomissioned their old Parent Portal.

It is important to note that the parent portal parents/carers were previously accessing has become inactive and access will only be available through the new portal.

As mentioned at the end of last term, we asked all parents/carers to make the transition to the new portal by downloading the app onto their phones or accessing the portal through their browser so that they can set up access. Please see instructions if you have not already done this.

NEW nForma nParent PORTAL FOR PARENTS - Instructions

Each parent will be required to update the link that they use for the Portal and/or download the Parent Portal App if you have not done this already. This will also be emailed to you at report time however we recommend that you do this prior to Thursday 12 December so you are ready to receive the end of semester two report and information regarding your child's Home Group teacher for 2025.

As expressed in earlier newsletters the organisination of groups is a complex process and teachers have considered multiple factors. Our children were asked to name three friends. Each child has been placed with at least one of the three friends they nominated in their Learning Space. Parent input received by 25th October in writing as required based strictly on student learning needs, was also considered but not guaranteed. Understandably, Parent request for particular teachers are not accepted.  Our school processes are most comprehensive and professional with decisions always made in the best interest of our students.

MACS Code of Conduct Launched

The MACS Code of Conduct (the Code) embodies our collective commitment to fostering a positive and supporting work environment that prioritises the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone, inspired by our Catholic faith.

The Code recognises the significant responsibility we all have for the education and wellbeing of the children and young people in our care, and makes clear our expectations for a safe, respectful and nurturing environment for everyone.

The Code applies to all people who carry out work in any capacity for MACS, and applies to MACS board directors, board committee members, employees, volunteers, consultants, contractors and School Advisory Council members.

Respect and Support

We create a supportive environment for staff, students, parents and carers, and clergy where we act respectfully, fairly and compassionately.

  • We treat all individuals with respect, dignity, courtesy, sensitivity, compassion and kindness.
  • We engage in open, honest and respectful communication with colleagues, students, parents and carers, and other stakeholders.
  • We recognise and respect the skills, qualifications and experience of our colleagues.
  • We foster a collaborative spirit, promoting teamwork and constructive engagement.
  • We foster an inclusive culture where ideas and opinions can be shared. We embrace different perspectives, experiences and backgrounds, valuing each person’s unique contributions to our community.
  • We recognise the essential role that parents and carers play in students’ lives, as their first educators.
  • We create an environment that is free from intimidation, threat, humiliation and harassment.
  • We do not tolerate unlawful bullying, discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment or victimisation.

We will unpack the code as we move into 2025. The code will be part of the induction of all new staff and contractors and will be shared with new parents to our school.
