GRATITUDE

What does Gratitude mean? Gratitude means being thankful, appreciative and recognising the positive things, people and places in our lives.

This week we are very excited for the students to begin the daily practice of Gratitude Journals. This is a book used to promote a habit of gratitude by regularly recording things they are thankful for. It’s a personal diary where you write or draw about things, experiences, or people you appreciate or feel grateful for in your life.

The journals will be used daily for around 3-5 minutes. We believe the Gratitude Journals will be useful for:

  1. Positive Focus: They encourage our students to focus on the positive aspects of their life.
  2. Mindfulness Practice: Writing down what you're grateful for helps you become more mindful and present in the moment.
  3. Perspective Shift: Keeping a gratitude journal can help you recognise the abundance in your life, even during challenging times.
  4. Increased Happiness: Studies have shown that regularly practising gratitude can lead to increased happiness and overall well-being.

Warm regards
