YEAR 6

FROM THE CLASSROOM

One more week until school holidays, and the students are already buzzing with excitement! This week, our classes enjoyed an in-school visit from the camp Woorabinda team, giving everyone a sneak peek into what next term has in store. Students learnt about the wide range of activities the camp has to offer and had the chance to ask questions, share ideas, and build even more anticipation for the adventure ahead. The visit has certainly sparked plenty of enthusiasm. 

REMINDERS:  

Uniform Reminder - We are still seeing students wearing black pants or shorts to school. A reminder that Ramlegh Park’s uniform is navy blue. With the weather getting colder in the mornings, we also remind families that while white or navy blue sleeves are fine, long black sleeves and hoodies are not to be worn under school uniforms.

As mentioned in last week's newsletter, our upcoming school camp at Woorabinda is fast approaching!

• We are learning to analyse a satirical cartoon by Mark Knight.  

WRITING 

• We are learning to use our plan to support our writing.  
• We are learning write a recount.  
• We are learning to revise and edit our work. 

MATHS 

• We are learning to find unknown values in a number equation. 
• We are learning to balance number equations. 

WELLBEING 

• We are learning to classify respectful behaviours within and outside the classroom. 
• We are learning to identify respectful behaviours.

Camp Information Update

As mentioned in last week's newsletter, our upcoming school camp at Woorabinda is fast approaching!    We are keeping Camp payment open on Compass for any students that might still want to attend.  Closing date has changed to the 26th of June.
