YEAR 4

FROM THE CLASSROOM
Hello Year 4 Families,
Last Friday, Year 4 students enjoyed Athletics Day. They approached their events with enthusiasm and determination and demonstrated persistence by having a go at each activity. Students showed a positive attitude as they participated in a range of events, supporting one another and celebrating their efforts. Their willingness to try new skills and stay engaged contributed to a successful and enjoyable experience for all.
This week students have been consolidating their skills in addition and subtraction, practicing how to solve equivalent sums and use regrouping to subtract. They have been focusing on setting up their books neatly to ensure they are proud of their work.
Students have had some extra time to complete their projects in both STEM and Inquiry. In STEM, they have completed a sustainability project and demonstrated their understanding by creating a design to solve their problem in Tinker cad and code a quadrant diorama to explain how their design is helping solve some of the world's largest problems.
Congratulations to the following students for their Reading Nights achievements.
25 nights: Aryahi 4A
75 nights: Asira 4H, Mila 4D
125 nights: Mahsa 4A
