STUDENT LED CONFERENCES

Thank you to all families who attended our Student Led Conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday evening.

It was great to see how proud our students were to share their learning, progress and achievements with their families. They were very excited for the opportunity to show their work, explain what they have been learning and celebrate the growth they have made.

Thank you to our staff for their preparation and to our families for taking the time to attend and support this important part of our learning partnership.

HOMESTYLE CARE VISIT | YEAR 3

Yesterday our Year 3 students welcomed residents from our local aged care community for their second visit this year.

The session kicked off with residents and students reading together, before the books prompted some sharing of stories and experiences. Students then presented personalised cards created using photos from the first visit, late last term.

The afternoon concluded with song and dance, with our Year 3 students choosing the Nutbush, Macarena and YMCA to enjoy with their guests.

It was another great opportunity for our students to build connections, listen, share and enjoy meaningful time with members of our wider community. We thank our guests for joining us and look forward to welcoming them back in Week 6.

SUP LEADERS OFF TO A STRONG START

Our SUP Leaders have made a fantastic start to the term, confidently delivering

presentations to our younger students about the difference between bullying and friendship conflicts.

They introduced the 4 D's (Direct, Distract, Delay & Delegate),  providing students with clear and practical options for responding safely, standing up for themselves and seeking support when needed.

The sessions also included engaging brain breaks to help keep students focused and involved. We are very proud of the way our student leaders are educating and supporting others and look forward to their next session.

Ramlegh Park delivered an outstanding performance, winning all four games against Cranbourne East, Waverley Christian College, Lynbrook and Barton Primary School. Their teamwork, determination and encouragement of one another throughout the day was amazing to see.

We are extremely proud of the way our students represented our school and congratulate them on finishing the competition undefeated.

SCHOOL POLICIES

Dogs at Ramlegh Park PS Policy

At Ramlegh Park, we recognise that while many families enjoy bringing dogs along at drop-off and pick-up times, not all members of our community feel comfortable around animals. Some students and adults may be allergic to dogs or feel anxious or frightened around them. This policy explains the expectations for dogs on and around school grounds and helps us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Complaints Policy

At times, families may have a concern or issue they would like to raise with the school. Our Complaints Policy outlines the appropriate steps for doing this and explains how concerns will be managed in a fair, respectful and timely manner. Open communication allows us to work together towards a positive resolution.

Uniform & Dress Code Policy

Our school uniform plays an important role in creating a sense of belonging and pride across our community. It also supports student safety by making students easily identifiable both at school and when attending events or excursions. This policy outlines the required uniform items and the expectations for student presentation.
