Sheep
Lambing is still underway in the sheep enterprise, and Mr Adams has been busy planting trees in the hill paddocks. He has also been spending time in the classroom delivering Identifying and Marking Livestock theory to the Year 10s.

Charles Hull
Another 14 Year 10 students visited the Charles Hull Gravel Pit east of Waroona, where they took part in revegetation work. During the visit, they had the opportunity to see large machinery in action, including a scraper and grader, while also learning about mine-site rehabilitation and workplace safety. The morning finished with students enjoying a BBQ lunch.

Beef
This week, 21 store cattle were sent to the sale yards, while a further nine cattle were prepared for export overseas, marking another busy period for the College’s livestock operations.
Dairy
Ms Quilty taught students about the purpose of vaccinations and the drying-off process in dairy cows, helping build their understanding of herd health and management. The pasteuriser room and equipment have been cleaned and updated to meet audit requirements.
Pigs
All pig stalls have been cleaned and disinfected, ready for the arrival of the next group of piglets.
Chickens
Sawdust from the Trades area has been collected and moved to the chicken sheds, where it will be reused as bedding.
