Term 3

One of the learning intentions for our program this term is health and wellbeing. The children have enjoyed practicing mindfulness activities which develop self-awareness, improve self-control, help manage emotions, create a sense of calm, and increase concentration and thoughtfulness.

At OSHC children enjoy reading, drawing, creative arts, construction activities, music activities, sensory play, relaxation, active play outdoors, laughing and playing with friends and enjoying moments of solitude. They have new opportunities every day to learn, create, rest and play.

We have been working together to create a new health and wellbeing display wall. The children shared their thoughts and ideas about the important things that make us healthy and happy.
