Regulation Strategies - Keeping Calm

What an exciting week as we head towards the School Concert on Wednesday evening. There are lots of feelings leading up to performing on stage. Lots of excitement and some nerves. This week in classrooms, we have been talking about our concert lots. We have talked about what we are each feeling and about enjoying our time on stage. We have also discussed tips relating to our value of Resilience. For example, if we make a mistake, bounce back and keep going.

You may like to discuss with your child different strategies they can use to help them to stay calm before heading on stage. The visual below may help to start a discussion about what would be appropriate on the night and what would work for them. Let’s help our whole community to shine!
