Melbourne Pollinator Corridor
You may have noticed the nature strip along Poolman Street is being rejuvenated. We are participating in the Melbourne Pollinator Corridor project - which aims to connect 200 gardens between Westgate Park and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
The school's involvement is both a planting effort and an educational experience, teaching students about the critical role pollinators play in ecosystems.
We have begun adding plants that attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, which are essential for local biodiversity. The garden will also serve as a living classroom, helping our students learn about environmental stewardship.
A special thank you to Emma from Heartscapes, Anthony, Angus and the Sustainability Group, our Gardening Club and the many volunteers who are helping to create a beautiful garden.
