Year 5 camp
Our Year 5 students recently travelled to Sovereign Hill, and back in time to the 1850s, where they experienced life during the gold rush, discovering history from a whole new perspective.

The best thing about camp was the light show on night show on night one that we went to - Alec

At the costume school, I learnt that pink was a boy’s colour and blue was a girls colour because the colour for men was red and pink is similar to red. - Bobby

At the costume school, I learnt that gold was found in Australia in 1851. The best thing about the costume school was that the toys you got to play with were wooden and fun to play with others. - Jasmine
At the costume school I learned that being left-handed was “wrong” and even if you were left handed you still had to write with your right hand. The best thing about the costume school was the break, badminton was my favourite thing to do. - Xander
