Road safety

A friendly reminder to please drive carefully around Clark St and Walter St. Our children's safety is important to all of us! We've had reports of dangerous driving, double parking, and blocking access to laneways, where delivery trucks come through - creating hazards for our children and community.

In recent years, PMPS established its Traffic Safety working group, which has been effective in establishing a dialogue between concerned families and the Council. This group has reported recent incidents to Council and requested improvements be expedited to ensure safety. Council-engaged contractors were onsite this Wednesday observing conditions. 

Any issues of dangerous driving should be reported to Victoria Police. Concerned residents may also want to contact the local City of Port Phillip Council to make them aware of safety issues affecting the community.

Safety before school

Another reminder that we don't have teachers supervising in the school grounds before 8:45am. Please don't send your children to school before this time, unless they are supervised by an adult.
