Message from the

Mrs Kaylene Carlin

Dear Sacred Heart School Community,

As we come to the end of another busy and productive term, I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to our students, parents & carers and staff for their dedication, resilience and enthusiasm for all of the learning and events that have taken place this term.

Our students have continued to demonstrate incredible growth, both academically and personally. From engaging in classroom learning to participating in school wide activities, they have shown perseverance and curiosity in all they do. It has been inspiring to witness their progress and see how they embody the values of Sacred Heart, represented in our Living Vision.

A special thank you to our teaching, learning support and administration staff for their tireless efforts in creating enriching learning experiences and a positive school environment for our students. Your hard work, passion and commitment to nurturing each child’s potential continues to have a lasting impact.

To our parents and caregivers, your ongoing support has been invaluable. Whether you’ve attended school events, supported homework routines or offered encouraging words, your partnership is at the heart of our what makes Sacred Heart so special.

As we now look forward to the break, I hope each of you enjoys time with loved ones, rest, and renewal. I am looking forward to seeing everyone back recharged and ready for the exciting opportunities that the new term will bring.

Thank you once again for making Sacred Heart such a vibrant and caring community.

Wishing you a peaceful and restful break and I remain yours in faith and gratitude,

Kaylene

FOOTY DAY

As is a tradition at Sacred Heart for the last day of Term 3, today was Footy Day. We started the day with a fabulous parade of all the children in their team colours and we even had a visit from the North Melbourne team mascot!

Special thanks to Aaron Greaves and Josh Linton for the very generous donations of club paraphernalia and clothing to hand out to the children. We had some very happy Carlton and North supporters going home with some great products.

Thank you also to the organising  committee of teachers - Anthony, Anne & Nick, who made the day so much fun for all.

UNIFORM POLICY

A reminder that Sacred Heart has a school uniform and it is expected that all children wear full school uniform on school days, unless otherwise stated for special occasions.

All items of uniform, including bags, lunch boxes, drink bottles and inside of their school shoes/runners, need to be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Uniforms can be ordered through Primary School Wear (PSW) using their online ordering facility (www.psw.com.au) or by visiting their store in Port Melbourne. Price lists and order forms are also available at the school office.

Please find detailed below the summer uniform which the children will commence wearing at the start of next term.  If any family is experiencing difficulty in sourcing or affording the school uniform, the school also has a good supply of second hand uniforms which can be purchased for a gold coin donation.
