2024 Parent Payments Update

As we reach the end of Term 3, we wanted to provide an update on the status of the 2024 Parent Payments.

Your contributions have enabled our school to invest in learning enhancement programs, offering both extension and support initiatives for students across all grade levels. These enrichment and intervention programs have significantly boosted student learning, as reflected in our outstanding NAPLAN results, which surpass those of state, network, and similar government schools, and occasionally nearby independent schools.

Many parents request smaller class sizes each year, and the school’s ability to provide these is strengthened by the funding from Parent Payments. Since the Department of Education does not fund these additional learning enhancement programs, your support remains crucial. As BPS begins budgeting for next year, we encourage you to contribute if you haven’t already.

Here is the current status of Parent Payments by year level for 2024:

  • Prep: 55%
  • Grade 1: 55%
  • Grade 2: 71%
  • Grade 3: 73%
  • Grade 4: 77%
  • Grade 5: 66%
  • Grade 6: 77%

We will be posting reminder letters to those families who have not yet made a contribution.  The whole school community would appreciate your continued support in helping us offer the best learning environment possible for your children.
