Welcome to Term 4 which is always an exciting term for everyone. Term 4 is particularly eventful for the Year 12 students who are currently embarking on their last official week of classes before moving into tutorials. To commemorate this achievement, this week included a dress-up and an accessory day. The dress-up event was Mini-me Day, where we got to recreate a childhood photo of ourselves, providing a fun opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come in our schooling journeys. However, the hard work is not over, as the last hurdle is fast approaching. We wish the Year 12 students the very best for their studies and encourage them to remember to look after themselves over the next stressful few weeks.
We also wish our Year 10 students all the best for their upcoming camp and hope they enjoy spending time together outside of the classroom.
Speech Night is also approaching, and is an event not to be missed, occurring on 12 November at QPAC. We are excited to come together as a community to celebrate students' achievements and hear beautiful music from our very own orchestras and choirs.
Finally, this term marks the leadership changeover, as we farewell our 2024 leaders, and welcome our 2025 leaders. After being in their position last year, we know the feelings of excitement and nervousness that accompany this term as they wait for the announcement of their roles. We know that no matter the outcome, the Class of 2025 will lead courageously, and we are excited to see where next year takes them!
