Higher School Certificate Examinations

Congratulations to our Year 12 students on starting their HSC exams so well!

They have shown great preparation and are ready to complete their remaining exams over the coming weeks.

To support their success, please ensure you are aware of the exam schedule, including the date and time for each exam.

Students should arrive at school at least 30 minutes before the exam begins to settle in and be ready to perform their best.

Wishing all students continued success throughout the exam period.

During the final week of Term 3, Mrs Manga’s Year 9 Chinese language class had the opportunity to celebrate the Moon Festival in class. Students followed a recipe to make mooncakes, a traditional celebration food at this time of the year. The aim of the activity was to enhance students' cultural understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese cultural customs as well as promoting friendship and harmony in our community.

The students enjoyed the hands-on experience and the joy that comes from working together to create and share a meal. We listened to Chinese music and talked about the legends and customs associated with this celebration, widely observed throughout Asia.

Mr Zuo also made mooncakes at the Chinese Club, which runs regularly at lunchtimes once a week. The students enjoyed the activity, especially the opportunity to devour a mooncake at the end!
