Principal's Message
Dear Sacred Heart Community,
What a fantastic fortnight it has been at Sacred Heart!
First, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our staff, students, and families for their tremendous support in making the Official Opening & Blessing of the Catherine McAuley Arts & Contemporary Learning Precinct a truly memorable occasion. The spirit and culture of Sacred Heart shone brightly, reflecting the unity and passion of our community. A special thank you to Bishop Shane and Executive Director Kate Fogarty for gracing us with their presence and adding significance to this milestone event.
Fundraising Success & Colour Run Excitement
Congratulations to the Sacred Heart School Community for surpassing our fundraising goal! With a target of $10,000, your collective efforts raised an impressive $10,250—a wonderful achievement.
Now, we look forward to celebrating with the much-anticipated Colour Run Event on Friday 6th December, from 5:30pm to approximately 7:00pm on the school grounds.
This vibrant event is open to all members of our school community, regardless of fundraising participation. Families can join the fun by making a $5.00 per child donation on the night.
The event will be well-supported by:
- Tatura Lions Club: cooking delicious sausages and hamburgers.
- Goulburn Valley Water: providing a Water Café to keep everyone hydrated.
- Popcorn and soft drinks: available for purchase.
We warmly invite all families to come along and enjoy this joyful event. Parent volunteers are key to the event’s success! We need assistance with setup, supervision, catering, and pack-up. Please complete the PAM Survey, which will be communicated later today, if you can help.
Kindly note that the Colour Run is a family event, and children must attend with parental supervision.
Foundation 2025 Transition Program
Today marks another exciting milestone for our 2025 Foundation students, who enjoyed their fun-filled two-hour morning program as part of our Transition Program. It is wonderful to see their engagement and enthusiasm grow each week. Thank you to our Transition Parents for your ongoing support of this vital program.
Child Safe Protocols Reminder - A gentle reminder to all parents and carers regarding our Child Safe Protocols for picking up children during school hours. To ensure the safety of all students:
- Please check in at the School Office upon arrival. Sally or Debbie will assist in organising for your child to meet you at the office.
- Use either PAM or the Sign In/Out Panel in the office to signout your child(ren).
We ask parents to avoid going directly to classrooms to collect students, as this can disrupt learning and compromises our child safety measures. Thank you for your continued cooperation in keeping our students safe and focused.
Wishing you all a joyful and fulfilling fortnight ahead.
God bless,
Jamie McDowall
