Dear Parents, families, and students

Thank you to all staff, students, families and community members for making 2024 another productive and exciting year. It has been a big task tidying up and trying to get organised for a fresh start in 2025 this week. Not a fun job but a part of it that I really value is the opportunity to look back at student work samples from the beginning of the year and seeing how much growth they have made throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone for all their support and time spent in helping to educate and support our students to grow and strive to be the best version of themselves they can be.

I enjoy my job and that is mostly due to the opportunites it provides me to work with such great students, staff, families and community members.

A part of my job that I don't enjoy is saying goodbyes to students and families and as we approach the end of the school year, it is with mixed emotions that we bid farewell to the Gibson family, who will be leaving our school community as they embark on a new adventure. Over the years, the Gibsons have become an integral part of our school, starting with Charlotte back in Kindergarten and then later with Chaise completing his primary school years and Chanse, Chyler and Charney also starting here and gracing our classrooms and playground.

From the moment they joined our community, Sonya and Justin demonstrated support and commitment. Their active involvement in the Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) has made a significant impact, helping to enhance our school environment and strengthen the bonds among families. Whether it was volunteering at events, organising fundraisers, or simply lending a helping hand, their contributions have not gone unnoticed.

Charney, Chyler, Chanse, Chaise and Charlotte have brought joy and enthusiasm to our school, each leaving their unique mark. We have watched them grow, learn, and thrive, and it has been a pleasure to be part of their educational journey. Their laughter, friendships, and spirit will be deeply missed by both students and staff alike.

As they prepare for this new chapter in their lives, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Gibson family and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours and hope they carry fond memories of their time with us.

We look forward to hearing about their new adventures and achivements in the years to come. All the best.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe and adventure filled holiday and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year. Time to Thrive in 2025!!

Kind regards,
