Assistant Principals' Report
REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE
We are proud to share that two of our students from the Student Leadership Academy, Akain and Chloe, capably represented Hazel Glen College at the recent Remembrance Day service held at the Laurimar Cenotaph. Joined by community members, veterans, and other schools from the area, our representatives paid tribute to those who served and sacrificed in times of war and conflict. In a moving ceremony, our students laid a wreath on behalf of Hazel Glen College, honouring the courage and resilience of our servicemen and women. Their participation reflects our College value of Respect we uphold within our school community.
BRAINSTORM WELLBEING INCURSION
This week our students in Prep to Year 4 were lucky enough to attend a free-of-cost well-being incursion. Brainstorm Productions presented their student wellbeing performance, ‘Sticks & Stones’.
This was an engaging live educational theatre performance to promote resilience, cyber safety, and positive connections among students. It was an excellent opportunity for our children to learn valuable life skills in a dynamic and entertaining way.
