Good afternoon Parents/Carers,
It is hard to believe that we are already into Week 5 of this Term. All students are working hard and are focused. It is great to see so many following our school values and behaviour focus each week and receiving Over & Above awards.
Behaviour Focus
Our behaviour focus for Week 5 is Respectful:
Grandparents Day
It was great to see so many grandparents come to share some reading time and a cuppa with their grandchildren. Thank you to all who attended a lovely time was had by all.
Rememberance Day 2024
Yesterday, we marked Remembrance Day with a small service to reflect and honour those who serve and have served in the Armed Forces. We thank you for your service and appreciate the freedom we are able to enjoy. Lest We Forget.
Drinks at School
We have noted that some children are bringing cordial, Gatorade, Powerade etc. in their drink bottles to school. Please note that we do not accept any drinks other than water. Please ensure that your child is only bring water in their drink bottle to school.
School Assembly & Kinder Transition Graduation
Our last school assembly for 2024 will be held this Friday, 15th November at 2:15pm. We will also celebrate our Kinder Transition students who will be here for the last time this year. We invite our newest students' families to our school for this assembly. Our next assembly will be Presentation Day on Tuesday, 10th December at 9:00am. All welcome to attend.
School Swimming & Water Safety Program
Our School Swimming & Water Safety Program will be commencing next Monday, 18th November. This program is aimed at students from Kinder - Year 2 and is a very important part of our school curriculum. Students who are non-swimmers in Yrs 3-6 have also been invited to join the program. We are yet to receive a number of notes and pool entry back to our office. If you have not done so, could you please return the permission note to our office as a matter of urgency to ensure we can be prepared for next Monday. If you have any questions with regards to this program, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Year 5 Quirindi Taster Day
Quirindi High School will be holding a Taster Day in Week 6 on Tuesday, 19th November. Please note that transportation to this event is by Parents. For more information you can contact Quirindi High School on 6746 1177.
Term 1 2025
In 2025 there will be a change to our School Development Days. As a result, the school year will commence as follows:
31/1- 5/2 - School Development Days - Staff only
6/2 All Students Return - Kinder to Yr 6
10/2 - Swimming Carnival 2025
