New teaching staff in 2025

We are very excited to have a number of new teachers joining our team in 2025. Please find out a little bit more about them below.

Full teaching teams will be shared via the School Newsletter next week.

Grace Cameron

As a graduate teacher, I am thrilled to begin my teaching journey within a community that I have already had the privilege of working with as an OSHC educator for the past two and a half years. I am incredibly excited to now step into a teaching role in this wonderful school environment and community that I have come to know and love. I am eager to bring my passion for education into my classroom and foster curiosity and growth. I believe that education is essential in nurturing student development, both academically and socially, providing them with skills and values to shape their future.

I am deeply committed to creating an environment that is loving, supportive, inspiring and empowering. A space that encourages every student to embrace learning as a lifelong journey, fostering a love of learning in each of my students.

When I am not at school, you’ll often find me at the beach, on an adventure, or spending time with my beautiful family and friends, including my Golden Retriever, Finn. I look forward to starting this journey with the wonderful team at Good Shepherd.

Isha Chopra (well, kind of new!)

I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Good Shepherd next year! As both an educator and a mother of three young children, I truly understand the challenges and joys of supporting children’s educational journeys. I believe wholeheartedly that our children are future leaders, and that learning is a lifelong journey we embrace together.

Creating a supportive, engaging classroom environment is my passion, where each student feels empowered to reach their full potential. My approach is centred around building strong connections, understanding each child’s unique needs, and nurturing their growth academically, socially, and emotionally. Watching students discover new things and grow over time is one of my greatest joys, and I feel so grateful to be part of their journeys.

Outside the classroom, I love cooking, travelling, exercising, and spending quality time with family and friends - these pursuits help me stay balanced and bring fresh perspectives to my teaching. I’m really looking forward to joining the school community, collaborating with my colleagues, and building meaningful relationships with students and families as we head into the 2025 school year.

Please feel free to say hello, and I’d love to swap favourite recipes too!

Daniel Gleeson

For the past eight years I have been living and teaching in Madrid, Spain, where I have met some wonderful people and have been blessed with fantastic experiences. During my time overseas, I have taught English, Science and Digital Technologies from Foundation to Year 10, though I have always been particularly passionate about middle and upper primary. My time abroad has given me a global perspective and strengthened my commitment to fostering curiosity and creativity in young learners.

After many years (and plenty of paella!), I am excited to return home to Adelaide. My wife and I love cooking, music, travel and sports (though I'm yet to convince her that AFL is better than soccer). We also look forward to spending plenty of time at the beach and getting away from the big city.

I am thrilled to be joining the team at Good Shepherd and becoming part of its warm and welcoming school community!
