The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Today 15 August, Year 3 and Year 5 attended Parish Mass at 12.00 noon to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption. On this day, we celebrate Mary’s passing from this world into the glory of God. Mary was a person of faith and trust who loved her son Jesus. We pray that we may walk in Mary’s shoes and learn to be people of faith and hope willing to trust in God.

Tomorrow 16 August, Fr Patrick has invited Year 4 to attend parish mass at 9:30am in the Church. All are most welcome to join them at this time!

Year 5 has been learning about the Fruits of the Holy Spirit that are active in our school and parish community. Students were asked to design and explain a new school logo to incorporate the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. Which one do you think would make a great school logo?
