BHHS turns 95 in 2025!

Box Hill High School opened in 1930, and next year we would like to celebrate our 95th birthday with our school community. Unfortunately our 90th birthday was limited by COVID reasons, and so this celebration next year allows us to highlight our history and achievements with staff, students, families and the wider Box Hill community.

Our goal is to put together a historical display and presentation in the school hall, along with an Art Show, a Jazz music night for parents, and a theme dress-up and special curriculum program day for the students. These events and celebrations will take place in Term 3 next year. 

We have been collecting historical artefacts and accepting donations from past students to put on display. 

Planning will also begin for the 100th anniversary of BHHS (in 2030), and we will be seeking parent volunteers to assist in making these events happen.

BHHS Alumni

We have also established a BHHS Alumni this year so that past students can register and connect with the school and then with each other in order to strengthen the Box Hill High School community. Please see our website for more information.
