PBS Matrix Launch

Lots of big and exciting developments in the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) space for Verney Road School this term.
We are now using revamped matrices to explicitly teach and acknowledge socially appropriate behaviours for our students. These matrices serve to clearly outline the behaviours we expect from our students, which are systematically taught, demonstrated, and reinforced across all classrooms and throughout the school.
Today we held an official launch day to celebrate this change across the school. Activities on offer included a hugely popular silent disco, PBS Matrices Scavenger Hunt, Collaborative Art Project, BBQ and Coffee Shop hot chocolates.
