Let's Create Stronger School Communities

Mullum FaFF: 2026

 

Mullum FaFF (Fathers and Father Figures) exists to help connect FaFFs with our kids, the school, and each other. We aim for a relaxed vibe where you can be as involved as your schedule allows. The goal isn't to add more to your "to-do" list. It’s about building a network of guys who are in the same boat, being intentional about connecting with our kids, and having a bit of fun along the way.

 

To help us get there, we run 3 different types of gatherings:

  • All-In (AI): These are our big community events where the focus is on the kids connecting with their FaFFs.

    • Note: While our focus is on FaFFs, we are "All-In" in every sense. If a FaFF can’t make it, we warmly welcome mums or other family/friends to jump in so no student misses out on the experience.

  • FaFF Social (FS): These are nights specifically for the FaFFs to catch up, hang out, and enjoy a bit of adult conversation away from the "dad duties" for a few hours.

  • FaFF-Ops (FO): These are a chance for FaFFs to help out around the school. This includes FaFF-Mate, our new weekly lunchtime chess club for students.

 

The Calendar. (More events to be added as details are confirmed.)

27 February: (FS) Lawn Bowls. Ringwood Bowls Club from 7pm. $10. RSVP via WhatsApp.

29 March: (AI) Big Bushwalk. Hiking up/around Mount Lofty in Wonga Park. 1pm. Further details to come via Compass.

8 May: (FO) Mothers Day Stall. Helping the kids pick out something special for the mums in their lives. 

11 & 12 September: (AI) School Sleep-out. Tents. The Oval. Marshmallows. What more do we need to say!

 

FaFF’ings 

Alongside our formal, organised events there are a number of other social events/teams that different FaFFS are running/looking to start this year. These include Running Club, Book Club, Footy Tipping, Golf, AFL 9’s, Indoor Soccer, Indoor Cricket and Netball. Please check out the WhatsApp chat for more details!
