South East Melbourne Phoenix Bring the Bounce to Our School

We were thrilled to welcome four professional players from the NBL’s South East Melbourne Phoenix — Akech Aliir, John Brown III, Patrick Ryan and Wes Iwundu — for an unforgettable visit that had our halls buzzing.

The atmosphere was electric. Our students brought the noise — cheering on their peers, lining up for high‑fives. Teachers and staff joined in, grateful for the positive focus on healthy activity, sportsmanship and community.

We are deeply thankful to the South East Melbourne Phoenix for choosing our school. Visits like this are rare — only a select number of schools are offered this opportunity each year — and we appreciate the effort the team put into making the day engaging, fun and inspiring for everyone.
