Around the classrooms

Foundation
As we head into the last few weeks of school, our students have been diving into two-digit numbers and learning how to represent them in different ways. They’ve enjoyed using tens frames, bundling sticks, base-10 blocks, and unifix blocks to build and understand numbers. This extends to learning how to represent them with drawings too!

Students Settle Smoothly Into Their New Classrooms
Our Grade 1 students have done a fantastic job settling into their new learning spaces this week. They have quickly adapted to their new classrooms with familiar classroom routines and expectations, showing confidence and a calm, positive approach. We are incredibly proud of the way they managed the transition, demonstrating resilience, responsibility, and a readiness to learn in their new environment.
Grade 2
In the Grade 2 Unit this term we have been learning about the many processes that food goes through from the paddock to our plates. Following our excursion to Peppergreen Farm we held an MKR- Grade 2 challenge. The children worked in teams to design, prepare and present their food; a snack, sandwiches, and dairy/juice drinks to two esteemed judges. They then had the joy of eating what they had prepared. It was a delicious and fun afternoon!

Grade 3/4B
3/4B have been so busy this term. There has been so much happening. Loads of learning and fun. We loved our concert song - "Just Can't Stop The Feeling' by Justin Timberlake and we looked fantastic in our flashy costumes. Check us out!
In Religion we have been preparing ourselves for Advent and Christmas studying the Jesse Tree traditions. Loving our Jesse Tree foldouts.
We have also been having quite a bit of fun in our class each morning with our daily spinner wheel counting down to the last days of school of the year. Our Lego Advent Calendar has been a great incentive to our waiting.
Many blessing to all
