Finding Hope and Peace this Advent Season
As we enter the beautiful season of Advent, meaning "coming," we begin a four-week journey of prayerful preparation that reminds us Christmas is much more than just a holiday. This holy time calls us to focus on the gifts of Hope and Peace. We light the candles on our Advent wreath as symbols of the unwavering Hope we have in God's promises, reminding us that He sent Jesus into the world and will come again. We also strive to be instruments of Peace, just like the "Prince of Peace," by using gentle words, showing kindness to everyone, and ensuring we make room for quiet reflection in our busy lives. Let us use these weeks to open our hearts and truly welcome Jesus into our homes and classrooms.
