Reading/Writing

We have been doing some wonderful learning in Reading and Writing!

In Reading, we have been learning the skills of visualising! When we read a book with limited pictures, we need to use the words and descriptions to imagine what characters and settings would look like! This is called visualising.

We have been delving into the world of narratives in Writing. Planning interesting and descriptive stories has been so much fun! We have learned about describing settings and characters and creating an interesting problem and solution.

Maths

Money, money, money!! We have LOVED exploring money for the last two weeks. We have even gone shopping and spent hundreds of dollars! Lucky us. We have learnt about the different Australian notes and coins and how to add them together. Some of us even know how much change we might receive if we spend a certain amount.

Inquiry

Our projects have begun! We are in the planning process of creating our projects about right vs wrong, empathy, integrity, consequences, kindness and honesty. Some of us are making board games, card games, gameshow quizzes or even books and comics! We can't wait to show you the finished projects!
