St Patrick's Before & After School Care

Children have enjoyed creating their own puff pictures this week. Making colourful creations by sticking the puff art onto the paper in their own designs. A great activity that improves children’s visual motor skills, whilst giving them the opportunity to experience a variety of sensations.
Many children spend considerable time in the home corner. Dress ups encourages creative thinking and communication skills. It helps children practice language development and their social skills. Playing with another child or staff member requires team work, cooperation and sharing. The act of putting on and taking off clothing and costumes also has many physical benefits.
Audrey made her mum flowers for her birthday to help her mum celebrate. We crafted paper flowers. First, we created a stem, following by the flower petals and the leaves. The flowers were elegantly wrapped in pink paper for a more appealing presentation.
