Child Safety at MCC

Our Commitment to Child Safety
Mildura Christian College is a child-safe school. We are committed to ensuring that the children who attend our school are safe and protected. Our goal is to maximise learning and fulfil potential for all our students in a Christian environment that is nurturing, comfortable, inspiring and, above all, as safe, secure and compassionate as possible. This, we believe, is how children best learn, grow and flourish.
Our Child Safe Policies can be downloaded from the Child Safety Page of our website. They are also available below.
Here's just a couple of the ways we are working to keep our children safe:
1. All visitors (including parents) must first report to our reception and sign in. Please do not enter the school playgrounds or go to classrooms without first checking in at reception. Depending on the nature of your visit you may be required to wear a lanyard or some form of identifying badge. Our staff are required to ensure that visitors adhere to this requirement, so please don't be offended if they speak to you about it.
2. All volunteers are required to have a Working with Children check and must sign a Child Safety Agreement, including a commitment to adhere to our Child Safety Code of Conduct.
The school community is invited to provide feedback on our Child Safety policies by using this feedback page - also available on our website.
