🏕️ Year 5 Camp – Mt Evelyn Adventures! 🌲

This week, I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Year 5 camp at Mt Evelyn, and what a fantastic experience it has been!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that our students were ready to embrace every challenge and opportunity. Whether they were climbing high ropes, working as a team during group challenges, or encouraging one another around the campfire, our Year 5s consistently demonstrated our school’s three ResKeys:

Respect – for themselves, their peers, and the natural environment

Responsibility – in taking care of their belongings and looking out for one another

Resilience – especially when facing new activities that pushed them outside their comfort zones

It’s been a joy to watch students grow in confidence, build stronger friendships, and make memories that will last for years to come.

We’re so proud of our students and incredibly grateful to the dedicated staff who made this experience possible. A special thank you to Miss Fields, Miss Hinton, Mr. T, Mrs. Dunstone, Miss Fran, Mrs. Edwards, and Mrs. Brady. These staff members leave their families and responsibilities behind to help create a truly memorable camp experience—one that students will cherish for a lifetime.
