Year 7 News

Welcome back.

Term 2, 2025 – Start of Term Update

We’ve had a great start to Term 2, 2025! It’s been wonderful to see how excited the students are to be back at school.

Attendance. 

We’ve noticed that some Year 7 students have been absent or arriving late on multiple occasions. Please ensure that your child arrives at school on time each day, as consistent attendance is vital for their learning and development.

Homework.

A significant number of students have not been completing or submitting their homework tasks. For Maths, all homework assignments are uploaded to the Xuno platform. Students and parents can use Xuno to:

• View assigned tasks
• Print extra worksheets (if needed)
• Check submission status
• Read teacher feedback

To support students in staying on track, we will be introducing a lunchtime homework session starting this term. Students who have not completed their homework will be required to attend and complete the assigned tasks during this time.

Parent/Teacher Interviews.

Parent/Teacher Interviews will take place on Monday, 5th May 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Bookings can be made through Xuno. If you experience any issues when booking, please contact the school office for assistance.

Diaries.

Students' diaries will be checked and signed every Friday. However, some students have not been bringing their diaries to class. Students should always carry their diary to note important details.
