A day at the beach
Year 10 Geography excursion to Cronulla
On Wednesday Week 9, Year 10 Geography classes visited Cronulla Beach as part of their case study of Environmental Change and Management. Students explored the human impacts on coastal environments and observed the range of strategies implemented to manage our coastlines, such as seawalls and sand dune re-vegetation.
The excursion provided students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of how the coastlines are constantly changing through conduction fieldwork and observations for the topic.
