Leading yourselves to success

The Reconnect Team extends its heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful school community for yet another successful term.

Despite facing challenges such as heavy rain and traffic caused by the new build, a vast majority (an average of 98.3% per day) of our school community have remained steadfast in upholding our core values of respect, responsibility, and success by consistently attending school on time.

This continued success would not be possible without the valuable contributions of everyone in the Cecil Family. In this light, our team would like to express our appreciation to our dedicated SASS staff, Connect Teachers, Head Teachers, and Senior Executive Team members for their continued support of Reconnect.

I extend a very special acknowledgment to Ms Lisa Bastide and Ms Julie Alfonsi for their exceptional resilience in navigating the complex daily challenges associated with the Reconnect program, and therefore, improving outcomes for our students by helping them build foundational skills and positive behaviours needed to enable meaningful learning.

As we enter Term 2, I encourage all students to lead and govern yourselves accordingly! You can do this by setting multiple alarms, getting enough sleep (at least seven to eight hours), and leaving your home with sufficient time to get to school.
