Our Year 12’s Epic Final Athletics Carnival

It was with great pride and excitement that we recently witnessed our Year 12 students showcase their talent, athleticism, and creativity at our annual Athletics Carnival at Prairiewood. This event marked a significant milestone for our year 12 students as they participated in their last ever High School Carnival.

Amidst the cheers and applause, our Year 12 cohort displayed strong sportsmanship, determination, and enthusiasm throughout the day. From the track to the field events, each student demonstrated their dedication and passion for athletics, making this year's carnival very memorable.

Beyond their impressive athletic prowess, our Year 12 students also showcased their creativity and camaraderie through their brilliant costumes. From superheroes to iconic movie characters, the vibrant array of costumes added an extra layer of fun to the day.

To our Year 12 students, we extend our heartfelt congratulations on your outstanding participation and effort at this year's Athletics Carnival. Your teamwork, and sportsmanship reflect the values we strive to instil in all our students.

Year 8

Cyberlab Program! Thank you to Mrs Reid and Crazy Ideas College

On the 21st of March students in year 8 had the amazing opportunity of participating in a Cyber lab program run by Crazy Ideas College. The Cyber lab program fosters the view that young people ought to have the capabilities, confidence and connections to shape the world around them.

Crazy Ideas College have engaged more than 20,000 young people and are committed to amplifying their impact over the coming years. Their philosophy stems from their belief that young people are facing a future where key aspects of life are in transition. The way we learn, foster well-being, work, establish financial security, connect and find fulfilment are all on the move.

Young people need access to an expanded set of skills, tools, mindsets and connections. Crazy Ideas college facilitators supports and challenges young people to step into meaningful and powerful opportunities that enable them to cultivate their talents, boost agency and chase their dreams.

The program fosters a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and innovation, empowering students to become confident creators and problem-solvers in the digital age. Through these exciting activities, students develop critical thinking skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for exploring the endless possibilities of technology.

We can’t thank Mrs Reid and the Careers team enough for providing this exciting opportunity for our students.

We are so immensely proud to recognise the achievements of all students that have fostered our school values of being respectful, responsible and successful. This was our first CHAMP Assembly of the year and students from all year groups were commended for their fine efforts. Well done to all students!

Stay involved: Stay involved in your child's education by attending parent-teacher afternoons and staying informed about their academic progress. Offer support and guidance whenever needed.
