Sunshine visit

On Wednesday, March 21st, students in years 3-6 took part in Illustration Creation workshops run by children’s book illustrator Sunshine Herbert. 

During these workshops, students learnt what being an illustrator means and the different types of work illustrators can do (kids’ books, fashion designs, video game designs, cartoons, etc.). 

The students then tried their hand at being illustrators by creating illustrations to accompany a short, silly prompt. Each student interpreted the prompts differently, resulting in many amazing illustrations.

It was fantastic to see the students so engaged and enjoying the workshops.
