What’s Cooking?

Years 7A, 8A and 9 have been busy whipping up a variety of recipes in the 60-minute timeslot. Although the time is quick, the students have become very efficient and know the expectation of prepping, cooking and cleaning up in a short time frame. It has also been lovely to hear many students trying these recipes at home. Our last two weeks will focus on dinner recipes such as, Chicken Stir Fry with rice, Spaghetti Carbonara and Penne pasta with tomato and bacon. If students don’t want to eat during class, they will need to bring in their own container to take it home. Food can be stored in the Food Technology kitchen until lunch break or to be picked up at the end of the school day.
