NAPLAN 2024

Our Year 3 and Year 5 students are currently half way through the NAPLAN 2024 testing period, completing both the Writing and Reading assessments this week. I am pleased to report that our students have typified our school values when completing the tests with many teachers commenting on their calm, positive and supportive attitude. NAPLAN 2024 will continue into next week with students participating in both Conventions of Language and Numeracy assessments. 

Ramp Upgrades

I am pleased to communicate that the construction company Landbuild has been successful in obtaining the tender to complete our ramp upgrade works. This is part of a Victorian School Building Authority funded initiative to ensure all access ramps are compliant and accessible for all students. We have worked closely with architects  from Caisson group to ensure the works cater to both compliance and also our school context and needs. 

Works include - 

Replacing sections of the ramp between the Administration and Library buildings

Replacing sections of the ramp near Rooms 27 and 28

Installing handrails along the Wentworth building path

Replacing threshold ramps in Rooms 17 and 18

Constructing a compliant pathway alongside Rooms 17 and 18

Landbuild are confident that all works will be able to be completed during the upcoming school holidays so that there are no disruptions to our students and community.
