School Captains

Wominjeka and welcome back to our School Captain’s Report. We hope everyone had an amazing long weekend with last Monday off.

As Tuesday followed, a selection of Year Six students were selected to attend the Primary Dream and Lead Conference held by Youth Leadership Academy Australia, where we got to listen to the experiences and journeys of inspirational speakers. With over 1800 students, we had a blast! Some students will share their reflection of the conference later in the newsletter.

For students in Year Three to Six, we can feel the excitement buzzing around as Cross Country is coming up on Wednesday 27th of March! For some students, it will be their first event, but we hope everyone has a great time filled with fun, and we wish you all good luck.

Students have also received a ‘Move In March’ Challenge Passport, with the aim to encourage students to walk, ride, scoot or skate to school or back at any day in March.

Last week, the Year Fours went on an excursion to Edendale Farm, and we hope they had an amazing time.

We would also like to give a shoutout to everyone celebrating Ramadan, because we know how much effort, dedication and strength it takes to participate. Ramadan Mubarak!!

Finally, we look forward to seeing you all again in Term Two, as this is our last newsletter for Term One. In advance, we hope everyone has a splendid holiday, celebrating Easter over the break and enjoy spending time with their family.

From your School Captains,

Saanvi and Harry
