Kangaroo Class

It is hard to believe that we have come to the end of Term 1! Well done to the Foundation children on an amazing first term; it has been exceptionally rewarding watching them form new relationships and witnessing the daily growth in their Literacy and Mathematics skills.

Yesterday we were lucky enough to visit EarthEd in Ballarat. Students completed three activities centred around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) concepts. Below are some of the highlights that students took away from the day-

“I liked the robots because I learnt how to drive and spin them”- Zea.

“I liked collecting the bricks using the robot”- Arthur.

“I liked putting on the goggles (Virtual Reality headsets) because I got to see what it looks like in space”- Rupert.

“I liked the science we had to use to make a circuit”- Hank.
