Specialist Feature News: Indonesian

Selamat siang,

Foundation students singing the colours in Indonesian in Art are still ringing in my ears this week! Students have been practising how to say all different colours and can confidently name the colours of the rainbow!

In 1/2, students have just finished learning about common clothes and have begun learning about traditional clothes of Indonesia. This week, students tried on the kebaya, udeng and even worked together to figure out how to wear a sarong! Check out the teamwork as students help each other to wear the sarong.

3/4 students are writing all about their hobbies and are extending their sentences using connectives.

In 5/6 students are writing about themselves and a friend, introducing all the information you would need if you were meeting a friend for the first time!

We are looking for photos of students who have been to Indonesia before to create a display in the Indonesian room. Do you have a photo you can share? Send it in to Bu Mundy on Sentral!

Physical Education : Colour Fun Run!

Get your Colour on! MPRPS is hosting a Colour Splatacular Run 4 Fun on Friday the 19th of April 2024!

Students have received a sponsorship book with instructions on setting up their cybersafe, online fundraising profile at www.australianfundraising.com.au. This is an entirely online fundraiser; all cash donations must be converted to online donations. Students can donate to one of the five causes – Carbon Neutral (tree planting), Great Barrier Reef Foundation (coral planting or turtle protection), The Smith Family (reading support) or OzHarvest (providing meals).

We are so excited for the Splatacular!

For more information or if you would like to volunteer and be involved on the day, please contact Hamish Burrill through Sentral.
